A Sparrow's Home

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Psalm 84:1-4

sweet!

(click to enlarge) Strawberry season is upon us.

Picking berries in the fields,

hot sun on shoulders,

wispy clouds in blue sky,

sweet strawberry fragrance,

the essence of summer.

Happy days!

Everywhere I look, I see a multitude of reasons to be thankful, grateful, full of praise.

Some time ago,

I joined with Ann V and the Gratitude Community,

believing

"it is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High" Ps 92:1

Consider joining  this endless chorus of praise.

 You'll be glad!

with love,

Strawberries are a favorite. Your illustration brought me back to my days of youth when I picked those berries to create some extra cash.

Yes, I agree, giving God our burdens and counting our blessings is a much happier way to live. And I love strawberries!!!
