A Sparrow's Home

How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Psalm 84:1-4

suppertime

Every evening I head out to the garden.  A little friend usually comes with me.

He loves to hide in the carrot-tops

and then pounce on unsuspecting gardeners.

Garden fresh!

You can add meat if you are a man  if you like :)

but I can make a meal just from these.

Steam until tender-crisp.

Add salt, pepper and a little dab of butter.

Mmm . . . it doesn't get any better!

Happy Thursday!

with love,

I LOVE the picture of your kitty! Too cute!

Last night we had a similar dinner and I served meat for the men. I, however, only ate the veggies and I think it was the best dinner I had in a long time. So fresh and perfect!
