We were driving home a few evenings ago and saw this awe-inspiring sunset.  I made My husband graciously pulled over so I could snap some shots out of the open car window. It was chilly on the hands but worth it. The beauty brought these verses to mind.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Ps 19:1

Our friend, Gus, is showing small improvements, although still in serious condition on a respirator. Twenty of us gathered at the hospital chapel last evening and spent a wonderful hour in prayer for him. It’s very sweet to belong to such a loving body of believers. I would be so grateful for your continued prayer for him and his wife, Karen.

I am praying for your friend. My mother in law also had pancreatitis, and it was very serious, but she did make a full recovery. I pray this is the case for your friend.

I got your package in the mail the other day, thank you so much! I just love all the things you sent, the magazine has been very helpful and is beautiful! My kids are reading it with me, and we are all looking forward to our move. I wish I had my camera and could post pictures on my blog of the things you sent, but my hubby has the camera with him in Halifax right now.

Blessings,
and thanks again,
Ellie

Wonderful sunset shots. Continuing to pray for your friends. The prayer time in the chapel must have been such a sweet time. The joy of corporate prayer.

Aloha my friend.

Thank you ladies for your prayers. We're waiting to hear the catscan report.

The cat scan brought good news - we have been afraid of blood clot damage and thankfully there was none. They will be trying to wean him off the ventilator in the next day or so. So our prayers are that this will go smoothly and that he will be able to breathe on his own. And also for deep peace for his wife - it is so hard for her to see him suffering.

Thank you so much for your prayer - it is deeply appreciated.

I'm so glad Hubby was willing to pull over and allow you to capture the Heavens. Just think, none of those sunsets is the same. A prayer for Gus and Karen.
